Open Question: How can I tell if this ring is stolen?
Posted in Diamond Engagement Rings by admin - Jan 25, 2012

I broke up with a guy about 4 years ago, and never returned a diamond engagement ring he had given me. Looking back, I’m not sure that he didn’t steal the ring from somewhere or someone. The ring has what I believe to be a serial # printed inside the band. Times are tough & I have no use for it, but I’m afraid if I go to sell it, and it IS stolen, I’ll get in trouble. How should I handle getting rid of the ring?
